    In a closely contested Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference matchup, Rider College emerged victorious over Niagara with a thrilling 77-76 win in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. T.J. Weeks Jr. spearheaded the Broncs’ effort by racking up 22 points, while teammate Flash Burton sealed the win by sinking a pivotal 3-pointer just four seconds before the buzzer.

    Despite a valiant attempt by Josiah Davis of Niagara, who missed a potential game-clinching 3-pointer at the final whistle, the Purple Eagles were unable to reverse their fortunes. Davis concluded the day with nine points on 4-of-8 shooting.

    Weeks was instrumental for Rider, maintaining an impressive 7-of-10 shooting accuracy from the field, including two successful 3-pointers out of four attempts, and a flawless 6-for-6 from the free-throw line. Tariq Ingraham also played a key role, contributing 18 points, grabbing eight rebounds, and blocking three shots. Additional support came from Zion Cruz, who tallied 12 points, and Flash Burton, who chipped in with 10.

    On the opposing side, Olumide Adelodun matched Weeks’ scoring efforts with 22 points and added six rebounds to his performance for Niagara. The Purple Eagles were bolstered by Jahari Williamson, who pitched in with 19 points, and Jaeden Marshall, who scored 13 points.

    The intense showdown showcased the athletic prowess and determination of both teams, but Rider’s last-minute heroics secured them a narrow win, improving their conference record to 13-18 overall and 9-11 in conference play, while Niagara concluded the game with a record of 11-20 and 6-14 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
