CONWAY, S.C. — In an exciting basketball matchup, Noah Amenhauser powered Coastal Carolina to an 80-74 victory over Georgia State on Wednesday night by delivering a stellar performance with 26 points.
Amenhauser didn’t just shine in scoring; he also made significant contributions on the boards with 10 rebounds, which proved crucial for the Chanticleers, who hold a 10-20 overall record and a 3-14 mark in the Sun Belt Conference.
Rasheed Jones provided solid support by scoring 20 points—hitting 6 of his 14 attempts, including 3 of 8 from beyond the arc, and remaining flawless at the free-throw line on all five of his shots. Joshua Meo also made a significant impact, scoring 16 points by making 6 of his 14 attempts from the floor and showing pinpoint accuracy on 4 of 4 three-pointers.
