Alexander Scores 21 in BU’s 79-68 Win Over Lehigh

    BETHLEHEM, Pa. — In an impressive performance on Wednesday night, Kyrone Alexander led Boston University to a 79-68 victory over Lehigh.

    Alexander made a significant impact for the Terriers, contributing 21 points alongside 10 rebounds and four steals. His team efforts were complemented by Miles Brewster who scored 14 points and grabbed six rebounds. Malcolm Chimezie was also notable, completing six of his eight shots to finish with 13 points.

    On the opposing side, Tyler Whitney-Sidney was a standout player for the Mountain Hawks, scoring a remarkable 32 points. His teammate, Nasir Whitlock, added 24 points as well as two steals for Lehigh. Furthermore, Alfredo Addesa contributed six points and performed two blocks during the game.

    Boston University established an early lead with 19:31 remaining in the first half, which they maintained throughout the game. Alexander’s contribution of nine points in the first half helped the Terriers to a 36-28 advantage going into halftime. In the second half, Boston continued to outpace Lehigh by three points, with Alexander scoring an additional 12 points.

    Looking ahead, both teams are set to complete their regular seasons on Saturday. Boston University will compete against Lafayette on their home court, while Lehigh will head to play Army. The Patriot League Conference tournament is slated to begin on Tuesday.
