In Las Vegas, the men’s tennis exhibition originally set for Sunday has been postponed due to unexpected circumstances surrounding key players. The postponement comes after Jannik Sinner was suspended for doping, accepting a three-month ban in a settlement with the World Anti-Doping Agency. Additionally, concerns arose when Taylor Fritz’s participation was called into question due to an abdominal muscle injury.

The event organizers announced the decision on Wednesday but did not provide a rescheduled date for the exhibition. Despite these setbacks, the women’s exhibition match is still on track, featuring the current No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka against the former top-ranked Naomi Osaka, which is scheduled for Saturday.

Initially, Jannik Sinner’s spot in the MGM Rewards Slam was filled by Casper Ruud after Sinner’s stipulated ban last Thursday. However, things took another turn when Taylor Fritz withdrew from the tournament in Acapulco this week, adding to the uncertainties affecting the event’s roster. Tommy Paul had also been scheduled to participate in the Las Vegas exhibition.
