ST. LOUIS — The St. Louis Blues secured a commanding 7-2 victory over the Seattle Kraken on Tuesday night, with Zack Bolduc leading the way by netting two goals. Cam Fowler and Oskar Sundqvist were key contributors to the Blues’ attack, each tallying a goal and two assists. These efforts helped the Blues notch their fifth consecutive win against the Kraken. Robert Thomas and Jake Neighbours added to the scoreboard with a goal and an assist each, while Jordan Kyrou also found the back of the net.

Robert Thomas continued his impressive performance, extending his point streak to seven games with four goals and seven assists. Jake Neighbours broke a 10-game goalless streak, contributing significantly to the team’s success. Between the pipes, Jordan Binnington stopped 26 shots, bringing his record to 4-0-1 over the last five games.

In the third period, Vince Dunn and Jaden Schwartz scored for the Kraken. Initially supported by Joey Daccord, who made 16 saves, the Kraken switched their goaltender to Nikke Kokko in the second period.

Key insights from the game included Kokko’s NHL debut following Daccord’s exit after the Blues’ fifth goal. Kokko, recently called up from the AHL’s Coachella Valley Firebirds, was thrust into action against a high-performing Blues team.

A notable milestone for the Blues came as forward Mathieu Joseph played his 400th career game and assisted on Bolduc’s second goal, bouncing back with an energetic performance after not playing in Sunday’s game against Colorado.

Despite a slow start where they were outshot 14-4 in the first period, the Kraken began strong in the second with the first nine shots on goal. However, Binnington’s goaltending ensured they didn’t convert those chances, allowing the Blues to take control.

Currently, the Blues have accumulated points in four straight games (3-0-1), matching their longest streak of the season thus far.

Looking ahead, the Seattle Kraken are set to host the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday night, while the St. Louis Blues will face off against the Washington Capitals on Thursday night.
