MILWAUKEE — In a thrilling match on Sunday, the Milwaukee Bucks triumphed over the Miami Heat with a 120-113 score, marking their fourth win in a row. Damian Lillard led the charge with 28 points, while Giannis Antetokounmpo complemented the effort with a double-double of 23 points and 16 rebounds. Lillard, who had been sidelined during Friday’s game due to a hamstring issue, also contributed significantly with eight assists. The Bucks received additional support from Brook Lopez, who netted 17 points, and both Kyle Kuzma and Gary Trent Jr., who each added 16 points. Kevin Porter Jr. capped off the scoring with 11 points.

From the Heat, Tyler Herro shone bright with a season-high 40 points to go along with 11 assists. Bam Adebayo chipped in 24 points, while Andrew Wiggins contributed 20 points and Kel’el Ware secured a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Despite the loss, Miami was able to establish a solid lead early on, reaching a 14-point advantage at one stage of the game.

The Bucks demonstrated resilience, especially in the final quarter where they outpaced the Heat 35-20. After a pivotal three-pointer from Herro leveled the score at 109, Milwaukee seized control with a decisive 11-4 run to close out the game.

Noteworthy observations from the game included Herro, originally from Milwaukee, who struggled with his shooting from long range in the first half, going just 1 for 5 and finishing the night at 3 for 12 from three-point territory. For the Bucks, there was initial concern about Lillard and Antetokounmpo’s playing times due to prior injuries, but both stars exceeded expectations, logging 37 and 31 minutes on the court, respectively. Antetokounmpo had played only 19 minutes during the previous game cautioning his health and dealing with foul trouble.

A significant moment occurred early in the fourth quarter when Porter scored seven consecutive points, followed by an alley-oop assist to Jericho Sims, who completed a dunk to put the Bucks ahead 97-95, marking their first lead since the initial stages of the game.

Another key statistic from the match was Milwaukee’s bench performance, which far outpaced that of their Heat counterparts, with a score of 34-12 in favor of the Bucks.

Looking ahead, Miami is set to face the Atlanta Hawks on Monday, while the Bucks will travel to Houston for their next matchup on Tuesday.
