BINGHAMTON, N.Y. — In an impressive display of teamwork, the Binghamton Bearcats triumphed over New Hampshire with a score of 79-60 on Thursday evening.
Gavin Walsh was a standout performer for Binghamton, contributing significantly with 15 points, alongside 13 rebounds, five assists, and three steals. His strong all-around performance was pivotal for the Bearcats, who now hold a record of 14-14 overall and 6-7 in the America East Conference.
Tymu Chenery also had a solid game, scoring 14 points with an efficient shooting performance of 6-of-9 and adding a valuable nine rebounds to his tally. Ben Callahan-Gold was another key contributor, finishing the game with 14 points as well, highlighted by a shooting mark of 4-of-8, including one 3-pointer from four attempts, and a perfect 5-of-5 from the free-throw line.
Khalil Badru led the scoring for the Wildcats, finishing with 14 points, but it wasn’t enough to secure a win. New Hampshire dropped to a record of 7-21 overall and 5-8 within the conference.
Looking ahead, both teams will be back in action on Saturday. Binghamton is set to host Maine, while New Hampshire will head out on the road to face Albany.
