    Isaiah Hawthorne delivered an impressive performance, scoring 24 points as Northern Colorado secured a 77-61 victory over Sacramento State on Thursday evening.
    In addition to his scoring, Hawthorne contributed eight rebounds and five steals for the Bears, who now hold a record of 19 wins and 7 losses, with 11 victories and 2 losses in the Big Sky Conference.
    Langston Reynolds supported the team by contributing 14 points, shooting 6 of 10 from the field and making 2 of 3 from the free-throw line, while Jaron Rillie added 11 points, connecting on four of six attempts, including two of four from three-point range.

    On the other hand, Leo Ricketts was the top scorer for the Hornets, totaling 11 points, along with four assists and three steals.
    Deonte Williams chipped in 10 points and Chudi Dioramma added eight points for Sacramento State, which has now extended its losing streak to six games.

    Both teams are set to compete again on Saturday, with Northern Colorado traveling to face Portland State, while Sacramento State will be hosting Northern Arizona.
