Montana State secures a 74-66 victory against Weber State

    BOZEMAN, Mont. — Jabe Mullins had an impressive performance, scoring 17 points to help Montana State secure a 74-66 victory over Weber State on Thursday evening.

    Mullins showcased his shooting skills, hitting 5 of 7 attempts from the field, including 2 of 4 from beyond the arc, and converting 5 of 6 free throws for the Bobcats, who now hold an 11-15 overall record and sit at 6-7 within the Big Sky Conference. Brandon Walker contributed significantly with 13 points, making 4 of 9 from the floor and going 4 of 6 at the free-throw line while also grabbing six rebounds. Additionally, Patrick McMahon contributed 11 points, shooting 3 of 6 from the field and 4 of 5 from the charity stripe.

    The Wildcats struggled despite a standout performance from Blaise Threatt, who led his team with a remarkable 32 points, along with seven rebounds and six assists. Teammate Viljami Vartiainen added 14 points, while Trevor Henning chipped in with six points.

    Both teams are scheduled to compete again on Saturday. Montana State will welcome Idaho State, whereas Weber State will travel to face Montana.
