Grambling achieved a victory over Mississippi Valley State on Saturday night, winning with a score of 65-54. Antwan Barnett contributed significantly to this success, scoring 12 points and grabbing five rebounds for the Tigers, whose current season record stands at 5-14 overall and 2-4 within the Southwestern Athletic Conference.

In addition to Barnett’s performance, Emareyon McDonald also scored 12 points, showcasing his shooting skills by making four out of five attempts from beyond the arc. Mikale Stevenson added 11 points to the scoreboard, successfully shooting three of nine from the field, including two for three from three-point territory, while also converting three of five from the free-throw line.

On the opposing side, the Delta Devils, who now hold a disappointing record of 2-18 and remain winless at 0-7 in conference play, saw Arthur Tate stand out by scoring 21 points and collecting six rebounds. Alvin Stredic Jr. supported the team by contributing 11 points and securing seven rebounds. Daniel Umoh also made his presence felt with eight points and nine rebounds.
