PHILADELPHIA — In a recent matchup, Kobe Magee showcased an impressive performance with 22 points, fueling Drexel’s 67-54 triumph over Delaware on Saturday.
Magee displayed effective shooting skills, making 8 of his 16 attempts, including 4 out of 8 from three-point range. The Dragons, now boasting a record of 12-9 and standing at 4-4 in the Coastal Athletic Association, received additional support from Cole Hargrove, who contributed 10 points, alongside eight rebounds and three blocks.

On the other side, the Fightin’ Blue Hens (11-10, 4-4) were led by Cavan Reilly, who notched 17 points and recorded three steals. Erik Timko also made a significant impact for Delaware, scoring 14 points.

Drexel seized control of the game early, taking the lead just 1 minute and 9 seconds into the first half, and maintained that advantage throughout the contest. Magee’s scoring prowess shone through as he netted nine points before halftime, moving Drexel ahead 35-32 at the break. In the second half, Drexel expanded their lead, outscoring Delaware by 10 points, with Magee once again stepping up, leading the team with 13 points in the final 20 minutes.
