The national player of the week in women’s basketball for Week 11 has been announced, and it is Ta’Niya Latson from Florida State. The junior guard demonstrated her skills with a remarkable performance, securing her fourth double-double of the season by scoring 20 points and dishing out 10 assists in a win against Clemson. She continued to impress with her scoring prowess, achieving her seventh game of 30 points or more in a victory over Miami. In that match, Latson showcased her shooting accuracy by sinking all five of her attempts from beyond the arc and converting 11 out of 12 free throw tries. The runner-up for the weekly honor is MiLaysia Fulwiley from South Carolina. She scored 16 points in a match against Alabama and followed it up with 15 points against Oklahoma. In addition to her scoring, Fulwiley also achieved a personal best of seven assists in one game, which included an impressive behind-the-back pass after making a steal in the backcourt.

Olbrys averaged 21.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks, demonstrating remarkable shooting precision by making 89.5% of her shots from the field. In the setback against Saint Joseph’s, she recorded 10 successful shots out of 11 attempts.
