MILAN — During Milan Fashion Week on Saturday, Giorgio Armani showcased a men’s collection under the label Emporio Armani that celebrated exquisite textures and shiny surfaces. At 90 years old, the renowned designer introduced his Fall-Winter 2025-2026 line titled “Seductive,” aimed at fashionable youth, encouraging tactile interaction with the garments.
This collection featured luxurious velvet three-piece suits complemented by elegant watch chains, stylish ribbed lurex knitwear, and sumptuous corduroy trousers that pooled around durable lug-soled shoes. The assortment of urban outerwear included belted trench coats, chic oversized leather jackets with dramatic slits for easy movement, and long faux fur pieces. Silken scarves were creatively knotted like ties, adding an eye-catching twist under blazers, bringing a sense of playful sophistication.
The show took place in Armani’s dedicated theater and began with an evocative soundtrack of wind sounds, hinting at the chill of winter while possibly serving as a subtle statement addressing climate change. The presentation commenced with models resembling mountaineers, equipped with climbing gear and dressed in striking color-blocked parkas in various shades, including purple, pink, olive, and brown. As the show concluded, an urban couple emerged, outfitted for a party yet shielded from the cold, effectively tying together the urban and alpine themes.
Giorgio Armani, clad in his signature navy blue attire, received applause from the audience before being photographed with the models. He also exchanged pleasantries with notable guests, which included American actor Toby Wallace, Chinese actor and musician Zeng Shunxi, and model Lennon Gallagher.
As far as trends are concerned, the collection prominently featured faux fur collars, glimmering body-hugging knits, and various styles of hats, especially the stylish leather beanie.
