LYNCHBURG, Va. — In a thrilling contest on Thursday night, UTEP emerged victorious against Liberty with a close score of 72-70, thanks to a last-second jumper by Ahamad Bynum. Bynum’s clutch shot with just three seconds left sealed the win for the Miners, marking a significant moment in the game.
Otis Frazier III was the standout player for UTEP, as he led the team with 14 points and also pulled down six rebounds. Bynum finished the game with 13 points, converting 5 of 10 attempts, including three successful shots from three-point range. Corey Camper Jr. contributed 12 points as well, making 5 of 15 field goal attempts and chipping in with six rebounds, seven assists, and three steals, showcasing his all-around skills throughout the match.
