PINE BLUFF, Ark. — In a thrilling Southwestern Athletic Conference matchup on Monday night, Tanahj Pettway was the star performer, registering an impressive 33 points alongside 11 rebounds, helping Prairie View A&M secure a 75-64 win against Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
Braelon Bush contributed significantly to the Panthers’ success, finishing the game with 18 points and three steals, while Orlando Horton Jr. chipped in with eight points, rounding out a strong team effort from Prairie View A&M, who improved to 4-13 overall and 3-1 in conference play.
For the Golden Lions, Christian Moore was the standout player, leading his team with 22 points and grabbing seven rebounds. Doctor Bradley also had a noteworthy performance, putting up a double-double with 12 points, 12 rebounds, two steals, and two blocks. Raphael Dumont contributed nine points to the team’s efforts.
The loss brought Arkansas-Pine Bluff’s record to 3-13 for the season, with a conference record of 0-3, as they continue to seek their first SWAC victory this year.
