BALTIMORE — Jacob Theodosiou shone with 27 points, while Braeden Speed clinched the victory for Loyola Maryland with a jumper just three seconds before the final buzzer, leading the team to a narrow 75-74 triumph over Navy on Saturday.

Theodosiou’s performance was impressive as he made 7 of 16 shots, including a remarkable 6 of 11 from beyond the arc, and went 7 for 8 from the free-throw line, contributing significantly to the Greyhounds’ (7-8, 2-2 Patriot League) success. Veljko Ilic also played a key role, putting up 18 points and pulling down eight rebounds, while Speed rounded out the scoring with nine points.

On the opposing side, the Midshipmen (5-12, 2-2) were led by Austin Benigni, who scored 18 points and dished out four assists. Aidan Kehoe was a force on the boards as well, adding 16 points along with 12 rebounds, while Jinwoo Kim contributed 12 points to the Navy effort.
