FORT COLLINS, Colo. — On Saturday evening, Colorado State secured a decisive victory over UNLV, triumphing with a score of 84-62. Nique Clifford and Rashaan Mbemba were standout performers in the match, each contributing 22 points to the Rams’ success.
Clifford not only scored but also made his presence felt with five rebounds, seven assists, and four steals, helping his team improve to a record of 10-6 overall and 4-1 within the Mountain West Conference. Mbemba complemented his scoring efforts by grabbing five rebounds. Additionally, Jalen Lake made a notable impact by scoring 13 points on 5-of-12 shooting, which included three successful attempts from beyond the arc, along with six rebounds.
On the other side of the court, the Rebels were paced by Dedan Thomas Jr., who led his team with 19 points and added six assists to his stat line. Jaden Henley also contributed significantly for UNLV, matching Thomas’ scoring output with 19 points of his own. Jalen Hill chipped in with eight points as well, but it wasn’t enough to bring the Rebels back into contention.
