NFL Teams to Play in London in 2025

NEW YORK — In an exciting announcement, the NFL has confirmed that three teams — Cleveland, Jacksonville, and the New York Jets — will host a home game in London in 2025.

The specific opponents for these teams, as well as the exact dates and kickoff times, will be disclosed later this spring when the entire 2025 schedule is made public.

This fall, the Browns and the Jets are set to compete at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Cleveland currently holds a record of 0-1 in London, having suffered a defeat against the Minnesota Vikings back in 2017. The Jets, who are on the lookout for a new general manager and head coach, have a record of 1-2 in London, which includes their recent loss to the Vikings this season.

The Jacksonville Jaguars will also be returning to Wembley Stadium as part of a long-term agreement that sees them play one home game in London each year. With a record of 7-6 in the city, the Jaguars have experienced recent success, including back-to-back games where they played once as the home team and once as the visiting team over the last two seasons.

Currently, the Jaguars are conducting interviews for a new head coach, but they are scheduled to play just a single game in London during the year 2025.

“This season marks a significant milestone as we will surpass 40 regular-season games in the capital, highlighting the United Kingdom’s essential role in the global expansion of the NFL,” said Henry Hodgson, general manager of NFL U.K. & Ireland, in a statement. “The games in London serve as a powerful outlet for engaging with fans year-round, and we are committed to serving our 15 million supporters, connecting with new communities, and fostering growth in flag football, which now has over 100,000 youth participants in the game.”

As part of the league’s Global Markets Program, the Jets and Jaguars have secured marketing rights in the U.K., allowing them to enhance brand recognition and grow their fan base internationally.

Starting in 2025, the NFL will have the opportunity to schedule as many as eight regular-season games outside the United States. Additionally, the league plans to host games in Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium and in Berlin at the Olympic Stadium.

Throughout its history, the NFL has held a total of 55 regular-season games across various international locations, with London being the host for 39 of those games.
