SAINT GEORGE, Utah — Noa Gonsalves led the way for Utah Tech, scoring a total of 24 points in their matchup against UT Arlington, resulting in a 74-62 victory on Thursday night.

Gonsalves delivered an impressive performance, shooting 7 of 12 from the field, which included 6 for 8 from beyond the arc, alongside a perfect 4 for 4 from the free-throw line. His teammates also contributed significantly; Hakim Byrd added 21 points with a shooting line of 8 for 16 overall (5 for 7 from three-point range) and collected five rebounds. Justin Bieker also made a noticeable impact with 12 points, shooting 3 for 8 overall (2 for 6 from three-point range) and going 4 for 4 from the charity stripe.

On the other side of the court, the Mavericks scored a total of 62 points, with Jaden Wells emerging as their top scorer with 14 points. Raysean Seamster contributed with 11 points and recorded six rebounds, while Brody Robinson chipped in with 10 points and made two steals during the game.

Both teams are scheduled to compete again on Saturday. Utah Tech will host Tarleton State, while UT Arlington will be looking to bounce back as they play Southern Utah on the road.
