In DeLand, Florida, the Stetson Hatters secured a 75-65 win against Central Arkansas on Thursday evening, led by a strong performance from Mehki Ellison, who scored 19 points.
Ellison had an impressive shooting night, making 5 of his 10 field goal attempts, including 2 out of 5 from beyond the arc, and hitting 7 of 8 shots from the free-throw line.
Jordan Wood complemented Ellison’s performance with 16 points, shooting 5 of 8 overall and nailing 4 out of 6 from three-point range, in addition to grabbing five rebounds.
Josh Massey also made a significant contribution, scoring 15 points on 6 of 8 shooting, including 2 of 3 from deep.

For the Bears, Cole McCormick led the way with 14 points and contributed two steals.
Elias Cato added to the scoreline with 13 points and seven rebounds, along with two steals.
Michael Evbagharu rounded out the notable performances for Central Arkansas, finishing with 11 points, 10 rebounds, and two steals.

The win improved Stetson’s record to 4-12 overall and 2-1 in the Atlantic Sun Conference, while Central Arkansas fell to 5-11 and 1-2 in the same conference.
