CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — In an exciting Southern Conference matchup on Thursday evening, Donovan Atwell shone for UNC Greensboro, scoring an impressive 28 points, while teammate Ronald Polite clinched the game with a crucial 3-pointer just before the final buzzer, leading the Spartans to a narrow 78-75 victory over Chattanooga.

Atwell exhibited remarkable shooting prowess, making 9 of 11 attempts overall, which included a stellar 6-for-7 performance from beyond the arc, and he also made all four of his free throws. Kenyon Giles contributed significantly with 26 points, shooting 10 for 17 from the field, which included 3 for 8 from 3-point range and 3 of 4 from the free-throw line.
