PHILADELPHIA — In an exciting matchup on Wednesday evening, Loyola Chicago overcame La Salle with a score of 79-68, thanks in large part to the standout performances from Jayden Dawson and Sheldon Edwards, who both contributed 20 points to the team’s success.

Dawson complemented his scoring with six rebounds, leading the Ramblers to improve their season record to 10 wins and 5 losses, as well as 1-1 in the Atlantic 10 Conference. Edwards showcased incredible shooting efficiency, making 6 of his 9 attempts from the field, which included sinking 4 of 7 from beyond the arc, while also converting all four of his free throw attempts.
