Freeman displayed versatility by making 6 out of 13 shots from the field and successfully hitting 2 of 3 free-throw attempts, guiding the Wildcats to a 62-55 win and improving their season record to 4-10 overall and 1-0 in the Southwestern Athletic Conference.
Willoughby had an impressive shooting performance, hitting 5 of 7 attempts and showcasing his three-point accuracy by going 4 for 4 from long range. Additionally, Reggie Ward Jr. contributed to the scoring efforts, adding 10 points to the team’s total.
