BOSTON — In a decisive matchup on Saturday, Hofstra triumphed over Northeastern with a score of 55-37, led by Cruz Davis’s impressive performance, where he logged 22 points.
Davis showcased his shooting prowess, hitting 8 of his 13 attempts from the field, including a remarkable 4 for 5 from three-point territory, contributing significantly to Hofstra’s victory as their record improved to 9-6 overall and 1-1 in the Coastal Athletic Association.
Jean Aranguren supported the team with 14 points, despite struggling with his shooting at 2 of 12, including just 1 of 3 from beyond the arc. He also excelled at the free-throw line, converting 9 of 11 attempts, and secured 10 rebounds throughout the game.
