Villanova, Pennsylvania – In an impressive display of teamwork and skill, Villanova triumphed over DePaul with a resounding 100-56 victory on Saturday.
Eric Dixon emerged as the standout player for the Wildcats, contributing 25 points to the team’s score while also grabbing five rebounds.
His performance helped elevate Villanova’s record to 10-5 overall and 3-1 within the Big East Conference.

Alongside Dixon, Jordan Longino had an excellent game, scoring 19 points with a remarkable shooting accuracy of 7 for 9, which included a perfect 5 for 5 from three-point range.
Wooga Poplar also made a significant impact, finishing with 17 points after shooting 6 of 9 from the floor, including a flawless 3 for 3 from beyond the arc.

For the Blue Demons, Jacob Meyer was the leading scorer with 13 points and secured two steals.
Isaiah Rivera contributed 11 points, but the team struggled overall, now standing at 9-6 with a 0-4 record in conference play.

Looking ahead, both teams are set to compete again on Wednesday.
Villanova will play host to UConn, while DePaul will head to Seton Hall for their next matchup.
