    MORAGA, Calif. — In a decisive match on Thursday night, Saint Mary’s College (CA) triumphed over Pepperdine with a final score of 71-41, propelled by Luke Barrett’s impressive performance, which included 16 points.

    In addition to Barrett’s contributions, he also secured eight rebounds for the Gaels, who now hold a record of 12 wins and 3 losses, including a 2-0 mark in the West Coast Conference. Mikey Lewis also made a significant impact, scoring 14 points with 6 of 13 shooting, though only 2 of 8 from beyond the arc. Paulius Murauskas effectively supported the team, posting 11 points after hitting 4 free throws while shooting 3 for 10 overall and 1 for 3 from 3-point distance.
