BETHLEHEM, Pa. — In an intense overtime clash on Thursday night, Nasir Whitlock propelled Lehigh to a narrow 66-64 victory over Bucknell with a clutch 3-pointer hit with just 24.2 seconds left on the clock.
Whitlock was a standout performer for the Mountain Hawks, finishing the game with 20 points on an impressive shooting night, making 7 of his 10 attempts from the field and going 3 for 4 from beyond the arc. He also contributed from the free-throw line, successfully sinking 3 of his 4 shots. Lehigh improved their season record to 6-6 overall and claimed their first win in the Patriot League, now sitting at 1-0.
