DEKALB, Ill. — In an impressive display of teamwork and skill, Northern Illinois University secured a dominant victory against East-West, finishing the game with a staggering score of 117-50 on Monday evening.

Quaran McPherson was a standout performer off the bench, contributing 25 points and grabbing 11 rebounds for the Huskies, who now hold a record of 4-8. Teammate Quentin Jones matched McPherson’s scoring output with another 25 points, while also adding seven rebounds, 11 assists, and three steals to his impressive statline. Jayden Mott recorded 15 points, shooting 7 of 12 from the field and hitting 1 of 4 free throws.

On the other side, the Phantoms were led by Jaha Jackson, who managed to score 17 points and secured eight rebounds. Devine Conley also played a role, contributing eight points to the team’s efforts.

Looking ahead, Northern Illinois will face Eastern Michigan in their next game scheduled for Saturday.
