Madison Scott added a strong all-around performance with seven rebounds and seven assists, while Kharyssa Richardson chipped in with 12 points, and Kennedy Todd-Williams contributed 11. Mississippi’s defense continued to make its mark, as they forced at least 18 turnovers in every game this season, with Alcorn State becoming the second team to avoid reaching 20 turnovers against them. This game marked the 11th time that Ole Miss achieved at least 10 steals.

The Rebels established a strong lead early, finishing the first quarter ahead 22-9, and maintained a 39-28 advantage at halftime. Alcorn State put together a solid second quarter, shooting 6 of 9 and successfully making two 3-pointers, alongside converting 5 of 6 free throws.

However, Ole Miss took control in the third quarter, embarking on an 18-0 scoring run, with Thienou contributing nine points during this surge.
