CLEVELAND – In an impressive display on Sunday night, Cleveland State triumphed over Wright State with a score of 78-64.
Chase Robinson emerged as a standout player for the Vikings, contributing 16 points to the victory. He displayed great accuracy, making 6 of his 9 shots from the field, which included 2 successful attempts from beyond the arc. Additionally, Robinson converted 2 out of 4 free throws.
The Vikings improved their record to 9-6 overall and 3-1 in the Horizon League with this win.
Other notable performances for Cleveland State included Dylan Arnett, who scored 14 points while also grabbing seven rebounds. Arnett demonstrated solid shooting, making 6 of 9 field goal attempts. Tevin Smith also made a mark in the game, adding 12 points to the scoreboard, with a shooting performance of 4 for 10, including 2 successful three-point attempts, and converting 2 of 4 from the free-throw line.
On the other side, Brandon Noel led the Raiders with an impressive performance, finishing the game with 20 points, six rebounds, two steals, and two blocks. His efforts were complemented by Jack Doumbia, who contributed 19 points along with three blocks. Michael Imariagbe added depth to the Raiders’ performance with nine points and seven rebounds, but it ultimately wasn’t enough to secure a win.
The defeat dropped Wright State’s record to 7-8 overall and 1-3 in the Horizon League.
