In a dominating performance on Saturday, UCF conquered Jacksonville with an 86-66 score in their final nonconference game of the season. Keyshawn Hall led the charge for the Knights, scoring 21 points while Jordan Ivy-Curry contributed 19, which included five successful three-point shots. The Knights maintained control throughout the game, never allowing Jacksonville to take the lead.

Hall had an impressive outing, hitting 5 of 7 from the field and excelling at the free-throw line with 10 out of 11 made attempts. Darius Johnson also made an impact, scoring 12 points along with grabbing six rebounds and making five steals. Moustapha Thiam rounded out the scoring for UCF with 10 points. This victory marks the fifth consecutive win for the Knights, who had previously faced setbacks against ranked teams, losing to then-No. 19 Wisconsin and LSU in late November.

On the other side, Robert McCray was a standout for Jacksonville, putting up 18 points on 7-of-12 shooting. Enrico Borio provided some support, hitting three three-pointers to finish with 11 points and contributing three steals. However, the game started on a rough note for Jacksonville, who struggled to find their rhythm early on.

The game began with Ivy-Curry netting a layup nearly three minutes in, quickly followed by Hall’s three-point play that pushed UCF ahead 5-0. At that point, Jacksonville had gone 0 for 4 on their attempts to score and committed four turnovers. Ivy-Curry then sparked a momentum shift with a couple of three-pointers during a 10-2 run, extending the lead to 30-19 with just under six minutes remaining in the first half. A final burst of scoring, including another triple from Ivy-Curry, widened the gap to 21 points before Borio managed to hit a three to leave the score at 47-29 at halftime.

Throughout the second half, Jacksonville was unable to lessen the deficit, trailing by at least 14 points continuously. The Knights showcased remarkable shooting accuracy, completing 59% (27 of 46) of their field goals, connecting on 10 of 17 (59%) from beyond the arc, and hitting a stellar 22 of 25 shots from the charity stripe.
