ABILENE, Texas — In an impressive display of skill, Christian Alston contributed significantly to Abilene Christian’s commanding victory, scoring 17 points in their 93-62 triumph against Hardin-Simmons, a team from Division III, on Saturday night.
Alston also collected six rebounds during the game, showcasing his versatility for the Wildcats, who now hold a record of 7-4. His teammates also made notable contributions, with Dontrez Williams netting 16 points. Williams had an efficient shooting night, landing 5 of his 11 attempts from the floor, including 2 of 4 from beyond the arc. He supported the team further with seven rebounds and four steals.
Additionally, Leonardo Bettiol offered a strong performance, scoring 15 points while achieving a shooting accuracy of 6 for 8 from the field and going 3 for 4 at the free-throw line.
On the opposing side, Austin Brewer was the standout for the Cowboys, leading his team with 16 points and providing a defensive presence with five blocks.
