ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — The Buffalo Bills made the decision to cancel their practice on Thursday due to a significant snowfall exceeding two feet. Instead, they opted to conduct their team meetings online.

The Bills, currently holding a record of 10-3, shared images on social media that showcased their home stadium heavily covered in snow, with the blue seats almost entirely obscured. This weekend, the Bills are set to face the Detroit Lions, who have an impressive record of 12-1, in one of the two matchups featuring teams at the top of their divisions. Meanwhile, the Pittsburgh Steelers (10-3) are scheduled to play against the Philadelphia Eagles (11-2).

Earlier this month, Buffalo managed to secure a win against San Francisco despite challenging snow conditions.

According to the local National Weather Service, the Orchard Park area, where the Bills both practice and play their home games, recorded about 30 inches of snowfall by Thursday morning. The region was under a travel ban due to the severe weather, which was anticipated to clear later in the day.

Since the Bills held a walkthrough session on Wednesday after their long flight back from Los Angeles, they will only have a single practice session on Friday before preparing to take on the Lions.
