THEODORE, Ala. — A tragic incident occurred on Friday night in coastal Alabama, resulting in the death of one man and injuries to six juveniles during a shooting.

The victims were at a bonfire gathering, according to Mobile police, at a location registered as a body shop and trucking business. This site is situated in an industrial area within Theodore, just south of the Mobile city limits.

Eyewitnesses reported to a local news station that approximately 100 attendees were present at the event. They recounted that individuals drove away from the scene, discharging firearms from their vehicles.

While the authorities have not yet disclosed the identity of the deceased man, they confirmed that two of the injured youth, both under the age of 18, were transported to hospitals by ambulance. Meanwhile, four additional juveniles under 18 reached medical facilities via private means. The extent of their injuries has not been publicly disclosed.

The police are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident.

As of Saturday, there has been no response to a phone call or email sent to the business involved.
