RENO, Nev. — Isaiah Watts showcased his shooting prowess in the second half with five 3-pointers, contributing 15 of his total 17 points. LeJuan Watts added 13 points to the scoreboard while narrowly missing a double-double with nine rebounds, leading the Washington State Cougars to a 68-57 victory over Nevada on Monday night, marking their initial road game of the season.

Isaiah Watts, whose father is former NBA player Donald “Slick” Watts, was particularly effective after halftime, sinking 5 of his 6 attempts from beyond the arc for the Cougars, who now hold a record of 7-2. LeJuan Watts, despite sharing a last name, is not related to Isaiah, but made his mark with six assists in the game.

In addition to the Watts duo, Nate Calmese contributed significantly with 10 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists. Ethan Price also played a key role, scoring 10 points and grabbing five rebounds.
