NEW YORK — A total of 169 baseball players have qualified for salary arbitration, with the deadline to exchange proposed salaries set for January 9.

In the American League, the Baltimore Orioles lead with eleven eligible players, including notable names such as Keegan Akin and Adley Rutschman. The Boston Red Sox have three players up for arbitration: Kutter Crawford, Jarren Duran, and Tanner Houck. Meanwhile, the Chicago White Sox are represented by five players: Justin Anderson and Andrew Vaughn among them. The Cleveland Guardians’ four eligible players include Steven Kwan and Josh Naylor.

The Detroit Tigers have seven players in this pool, featuring Casey Mize and Jake Rogers. The Houston Astros follow closely with eight eligible players, including Bryan Abreu and Framber Valdez. In Kansas City, the Royals have seven players, with Kris Bubic and Hunter Harvey listed. The Los Angeles Angels also have eight, with talents like Jo Adell and Luis Rengifo.

Minnesota’s lineup includes eight players, such as Jhoan Durán and Joe Ryan. The New York Yankees have six players eligible, with Jazz Chisholm Jr. and Jose Trevino standing out.
