DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — In a commanding performance, Corey McKeithan scored 27 points, leading La Salle to a 92-77 victory over Stetson on Saturday.
McKeithan also contributed five rebounds for the Explorers, who improved their season record to 5-2.
Teammate Andres Marrero added 13 points, shooting 5 of 11 from the floor and hitting three of his six attempts from three-point range, along with six rebounds.
Jahlil White also scored 13 points, going 4 for 9 from the field and converting 5 of his 8 free-throw attempts.
For the Hatters (1-6), Mehki led the scoring with 20 points and recorded seven rebounds.
Abramo Canka supported the effort with 14 points, while Jamie Phillips Jr. chipped in 12 points and seven rebounds.
Unfortunately for Stetson, the loss marked their sixth consecutive defeat.
La Salle showcased their dominance with an impressive 18-3 run during the game, extending their lead to 69-48 with just 11:22 remaining in the second half.
Jahlil White made a significant impact, contributing 10 points in the second half, further solidifying La Salle’s command in the matchup.
