In a thrilling encounter on Friday night, East Tennessee State emerged victorious over South Carolina Upstate with a score of 87-76, thanks in large part to standout performances from Jaden Seymour and Quimari Peterson, who both scored 28 points each.

Seymour also made his mark with six rebounds, showcasing his all-around game for the Buccaneers, who improved their record to 3-2. Meanwhile, Peterson not only contributed in scoring but also dished out five assists and grabbed five rebounds, demonstrating his versatility on the court.

For the Spartans, Mister Dean was the top scorer, finishing with 19 points, along with nine rebounds and three steals, putting in a commendable performance despite the loss. Supporting him were Brit Harris with 13 points and Chico Johnson, who chipped in with 11 points, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Buccaneers’ offensive prowess.
