SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico — In an impressive display of skill, Amar’e Marshall led the Albany Great Danes to a commanding 93-50 victory over Puerto Rico-Mayaguez on Friday night, contributing 17 points to the team’s success.

In addition to his scoring, Marshall showcased his playmaking abilities with five assists. Byron Joshua was also pivotal for the Great Danes, adding 13 points to the scoreboard. He was particularly efficient, notching a perfect 4 for 4 shooting night, which included hitting three 3-pointers. Joshua also contributed defensively, recording five steals while dishing out another five assists.

Aaron Reddish rounded out Albany’s offensive efforts with a strong performance, scoring 12 points. Reddish achieved 4 of 7 shooting from the floor, which included a solid 2 for 3 from beyond the arc, and hitting 2 of 3 from the free-throw line.
