CARROLLTON, Ga. — In an impressive performance, the Troy Trojans triumphed over West Georgia with a final score of 84-65 on Tuesday night. Jackson Fields and Victor Valdes emerged as standout players, each contributing 15 points to the team’s victory.
Fields not only shone on offense but also showcased his skills on the boards, grabbing seven rebounds during the game. Valdes was particularly efficient in his shooting, hitting all five of his attempts and sinking three shots from three-point range, ensuring his scoring contribution remained perfect throughout the match. Additionally, Myles Rigsby added 11 points to the Trojans’ tally, with a shooting accuracy of 40% from the field and benefiting the team with three steals.
The West Georgia Wolves, still in search of their first win of the season, were led by Shelton Williams-Dryden, who managed to put up 14 points alongside seven rebounds.
