In Beaumont, Texas, the Sam Houston Bearkats claimed a decisive victory over the Lamar Cardinals, winning the game 85-72 on Sunday evening.
Lamar Wilkerson played a significant role in the win, contributing 28 points. He demonstrated strong shooting skills, connecting on 9 of his 16 attempts from the field, which included an impressive 6 out of 10 from beyond the arc, while also making all four of his free throws.

Kalifa Sakho also made notable contributions to the Bearkats, scoring 22 points with an efficient shooting performance, hitting 9 of 12 from the floor and sealing 4 of 5 from the free-throw line. Additionally, Sakho rebounded well, pulling down six boards.
