JONESBORO, Ark. — In a solid performance on Saturday, Taryn Todd scored 21 points to help Arkansas State secure a 59-49 victory over Stephen F. Austin.
Besides his scoring prowess, Todd also contributed significantly by grabbing six rebounds and making three steals, reinforcing his role in the Red Wolves’ (3-1) game plan. Kobe Julien supported the team’s effort with nine points, although his shooting was less than stellar, finishing at 4 for 14 from the field, including 1 for 6 from beyond the arc, and he struggled from the charity stripe, missing all three of his free-throw attempts. Julien did contribute on the boards, pulling down nine rebounds, and matched Todd with three steals.

Nana Antwi-Boasiako added depth to the team’s performance, finishing with 11 points and a commendable 12 rebounds. Additionally, Chrishawn Christmas showcased a balanced stat line, notching six points, 10 rebounds, and four steals, contributing valuable defensive and offensive efforts on the court.
