NEW YORK — In a solid performance on Saturday, Geronimo Rubio De La Rosa led the Columbia Lions to a 77-63 victory over the Mercyhurst Lakers, contributing 21 points to his team’s unbeaten record.
De La Rosa demonstrated his scoring prowess by connecting on 7 of 14 shots from the field, including an impressive 5 of 9 from beyond the arc, while also successfully converting 2 of 3 attempts from the free-throw line.
Alongside him, Kenny Noland supported the Lions with 12 points, shooting 5 for 12 overall and making 2 of 5 from three-point territory. Blair Thompson contributed valuable depth to the scoring with 10 points, shooting a commendable 4 for 6 from the field.
