GREENVILLE, S.C. — In an exciting matchup on Friday night, Pjay Smith Jr. showcased an outstanding performance, scoring 29 points to guide Furman to a 75-67 victory over Tulane.

Smith also demonstrated his defensive abilities, contributing three steals as the Paladins improved their record to 4-0. Nick Anderson supported the effort with a solid performance, adding 19 points and showcasing his shooting accuracy with 5 of 11 from the field, including 5 of 10 from beyond the arc, along with perfect free-throw shooting (4 for 4). Davis Molnar chipped in six points, making 3 of 5 attempts from the floor.

For the Green Wave, Asher Woods led the scoring with 17 points, while Gregg Glenn III posted a notable double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds, also dishing out four assists. Mari Jordan also contributed 14 points to Tulane’s efforts.
