MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — James White delivered an impressive performance with 20 points as the New Orleans Privateers secured an 82-74 victory against Lindenwood on Thursday evening.
In addition to his scoring, White contributed significantly on the boards, grabbing 11 rebounds for the Privateers, who now hold a record of 1-2. Jah Short also shone on the court, scoring 18 points and demonstrating efficiency by hitting 7 of 12 shots. He made 2 of 4 attempts from beyond the arc and went 2 for 5 from the free-throw line, while also recording four steals. Michael Thomas added to the team’s success with 13 points, converting on 4 of 6 field-goal attempts and making 5 of 8 at the line.
On the other side, the Lions, who now stand at 1-2, saw Clayton Jackson lead their scoring efforts with 15 points. Jadis Jones supported the team well with a stat line of 14 points, nine rebounds, and two steals. Furthermore, Anias Futrell contributed to the team’s offensive effort, finishing with 13 points and eight rebounds.
