GRAND FORKS, N.D. — In an exciting matchup on Thursday, Treysen Eaglestaff put in a stellar performance with 31 points, leading the North Dakota Fightin’ Hawks to a 77-71 victory against Utah Valley.
Eaglestaff showcased his shooting prowess by hitting 10 of 17 attempts from the field, including a commendable 50% from beyond the arc, sinking 3 of 6 three-pointers, and finishing strong with 8 of 9 from the free-throw line.
His contribution was pivotal for North Dakota, which improved its record to 2-1. Amar Kuljuhovic also made a significant impact, scoring 17 points with an efficient shooting night, going 6 of 7 overall and hitting 5 of 9 from the charity stripe, while pulling down six rebounds.
Dariyus Woodson rounded out the offensive efforts, contributing nine points, going 2 for 5 from the field, and making all four of his free throws.

On the other side, Ethan Potter was the leading scorer for the Wolverines, finishing the game with 20 points along with eight rebounds. Dominick Nelson added to the effort with 12 points and seven boards, while Trevan Leonhardt contributed another 12 points, dishing out five assists in the process.
