GRAND FORKS, N.D. — In an exciting matchup on Thursday, Treysen Eaglestaff put in a stellar performance with 31 points, leading the North Dakota Fightin’ Hawks to a 77-71 victory against Utah Valley.
Eaglestaff showcased his shooting prowess by hitting 10 of 17 attempts from the field, including a commendable 50% from beyond the arc, sinking 3 of 6 three-pointers, and finishing strong with 8 of 9 from the free-throw line.
His contribution was pivotal for North Dakota, which improved its record to 2-1. Amar Kuljuhovic also made a significant impact, scoring 17 points with an efficient shooting night, going 6 of 7 overall and hitting 5 of 9 from the charity stripe, while pulling down six rebounds.
Dariyus Woodson rounded out the offensive efforts, contributing nine points, going 2 for 5 from the field, and making all four of his free throws.
