CLINTON, S.C. — In a thrilling encounter on Wednesday night, Kobe Stewart propelled Presbyterian to a 71-68 victory over Wofford, scoring an impressive 26 points.
Stewart also contributed significantly on the boards, grabbing 10 rebounds for the Blue Hose, who now improve their record to 2-2 on the season.
Carl Parrish offered solid support, adding 11 points while shooting 40 percent from the field, which included one successful shot from three-point range.
Kory Mincy rounded out the scoring for Presbyterian with 10 points, although he struggled with his shooting, hitting only 3 of his 11 attempts, including 1 for 6 from beyond the arc.
On the opposing side, the Terriers, now standing at 1-2, saw Corey Tripp lead their scoring efforts with 15 points along with six assists.
Jackson Sivills contributed 13 points to the team’s tally, while Jeremy Lorenz also stepped up with 11 points, showing a balanced offensive effort despite the loss.
