Popovich, currently in his 29th season coaching the Spurs, does not have a specified timeline for his return to the bench. The incident took place on November 2 at the team’s home arena, and there is optimism regarding his complete recovery.

In the meantime, assistant coach Mitch Johnson has stepped in as the acting head coach to lead the team during Popovich’s absence.
