HARRISONBURG, Va. — Elijah Hutchins-Everett showcased his skills by scoring 21 points in James Madison’s emphatic 100-52 victory over Mary Baldwin on Tuesday evening.
Alongside Hutchins-Everett’s performance, he also secured 12 rebounds, contributing significantly to the Dukes’ (2-1) success. Xavier Brown had a notable game as well, contributing 17 points with an impressive shooting percentage of 70%, including a perfect 3 for 3 from three-point range. He also recorded three steals during the game.
Ebenezer Dowuona played a key role too, finishing with 10 points after shooting a flawless 5 for 5 from the floor, and he added seven rebounds to his tally.
For the opposing Fighting Squirrels, Rony Hogarth and Jaden Ignacio each scored nine points, though it was not enough to compete with the Dukes’ dominant performance.
This game was a strong display of teamwork and individual talent for James Madison, as they continue to build momentum in the season.
