Jalen Milroe of Alabama has been recognized as the national player of the week for college football for Week 11 of the current season.
Milroe delivered an impressive performance in the Crimson Tide’s 42-13 victory over LSU, rushing the ball 12 times for a career-high 185 yards and four touchdowns, along with completing 12 of 18 passes for 109 yards.
With a total of 16 rushing touchdowns this season, he set a new school record, surpassing Jalen Hurts’ previous mark of 13 set in 2016.
Among his notable plays, his 72-yard rushing touchdown against LSU stands out as the longest of his career, and his average of 15.4 yards per carry ranks as the fourth-highest for an Alabama player with at least 10 carries.
In his two career starts versus LSU, Milroe has amassed an impressive 340 rushing yards and 328 passing yards, scoring a total of eight rushing touchdowns.

In the runner-up position this week is Ashton Jeanty from Boise State, who exploded for over 200 rushing yards for the fourth time this season.
He finished with 209 yards and three rushing touchdowns on 34 carries during a 28-21 win against Nevada. This marked the eighth time in his career he has recorded three rushing touchdowns in a single game.

Additionally, Mississippi’s Jared Ivey had a powerful performance, recording two sacks, seven tackles, and two pass breakups during a 28-10 win against Georgia.
East Carolina’s Katin Houser distinguished himself as well, finishing with 17 completions on 22 attempts for 343 yards and five touchdowns, in addition to rushing for another score in their 49-14 triumph against Florida Atlantic.
